Groundbreaking event for new TAKTOMAT headquarters on June 10, 2022

With an official groundbreaking event on Friday, June 10, 2022, TAKTOMAT celebrated the start of building the new production hall of the new company headquarters in Pöttmes.

Due to the successful development and the enormous demand for innovative automation components, the previous location in Pöttmes is too small. Due to new orders as well as important challenges in the field of digitalization, TAKTOMAT urgently needs additional capacities. Therefore, a new company headquarters is being built in Pöttmes not far from the current location on a site of approx. 22,000 square meters until the year 2023.

In the first construction phase, a production hall of 8,500 square meters with office space in the order of around 1,500 square meters is planned in order to bring together the 4 production facilities currently spread across Pöttmes and thus exploit synergy effects. This will almost double the available production area.

In a second construction phase, a new administration building with approx. 2,000 square meters is also to be built next to the hall. In line with the company philosophy, TAKTOMAT is not only striving for expansion with this project. The topic of "sustainability" also represents a special concern in the implementation of the project: In order to be able to operate in an environmentally conscious and resource-saving manner in the future, TAKTOMAT is relying on an innovative energy concept using renewable energies for its new building. In addition, regional companies in particular are involved in the construction.

The management regards the new building as an "investment in the future" - for which the investment volume is
amounts to approx. 15 million euros.

With this groundbreaking step in TAKTOMAT's history, TAKTOMAT not only wants to be a representative, sustainable and, due to the expanded capacities, even more efficient business partner for its customers, but also to be a modern and innovative employer in the region for its more than 100 employees.
