BREAKING THE BARRIER
More power, more dynamism, more precision
Our BREAKING THE BARRIER campaign highlights a challenge that many production managers
face in their day-to-day work.
Cycle rates are reaching their limits, and processes are falling under pressure.
New requirements are changing existing production workflows.
The key question is:
How can we increase production output without compromising precision, process stability, and equipment availability?
Many limits are taken for granted
We see things differently.
TAKTOMAT's linear transfer systems were developed for applications that combine
high dynamics, repeatable motion sequences, and high production output.
Each system focuses on a different aspect.
They all share a common goal: to overcome existing performance limits.
TAKTOMAT Linear Transfer Systems
Linear Transfer System LFA HSP
The LFA HSP is one of the fastest chain-based linear transfer systems on the market. It was developed for consistently high cycle rates. With up to 200 cycles per minute, it enables high production output while maintaining stable and repeatable motion sequences.
Typical applications include assembly, testing, and handling processes with short cycle times. The LFA HSP is used in the automotive industry, battery production, electronics manufacturing, medical technology, and safety-critical applications in the defence industry, among others.
Linear Transfer System LFA
The LFA truly shines where the highest precision and controlled motion sequences are required.
With a positioning accuracy of up to ± 0.04 mm, it provides the foundation for precise assembly, testing, and manufacturing processes, even at high cycle rates.
Thanks to its suitability for cleanroom applications, the LFA is used in the cosmetics industry, the pharmaceutical industry, battery manufacturing, and in safety-critical applications in the defense industry, among others.
In these sectors, it helps to meet the most stringent requirements for cleanliness, process reliability, and product quality.
Linear Transfer System LATC
The LATC is designed for continuous 24/7 operation. Controlled motion sequences
and a robust design ensure high system availability and process stability.
Typical applications involve areas where production shutdowns result in high costs — for example, in the automotive industry, battery production, the packaging industry, and defense industry manufacturing facilities.

A linear transfer system guides components smoothly through the stations.
Smooth motion profiles enable short cycle times and create the conditions for a performance increase of up to 30 %.

Barriers
WHERE BARRIERS ARISE TODAY
Increasing cycle rates, high precision requirements, and the desire for maximum equipment availability —
the drive for greater efficiency is a common goal in many production environments.
The greatest challenges often arise in safety-critical applications, where dynamics, load, and production output collide.
When the cycle rate needs to increase
Greater speed alone does not automatically increase production output. The key factor is whether movements remain
controllable even under high dynamics and whether processes maintain their stability.
When precision suffers under dynamic conditions
As dynamics increase, so do the demands on repeatability and process reliability. Precision arises where
motion sequences remain reproducible.
When shutdowns limit output
High production output is not achieved through individual peak values.
What matters is how reliably a system delivers its performance day after day.
